What could be more important than monitoring the voltages at certain points in the chain?
That's why there are voltage monitors monitoring the important voltage lines:
- The input 5volt line
- The 5 volt VBUS from the Raspberry Pi
- The 3.2 volt line from the Raspberry Pi
What is being used is a "0.28 Inch 2.5V-30V Mini Digital Voltmeter Voltage Tester Meter" from our favourite Chinese supplier AliExpress
These will be mounted, out of the way, in the space where the modem cable used to live
