What else could be added to the PPC to make it even more fun?
Why not add a RFID reader to control something? Why not a small full colour TFT screen to display information stored on a RFID card?
So off to AliExpress & something was found. A MFRC-522 RC522 RFID RF card sensor module.
It's now on a slow junk from China & should arrive sometime in the next couple of weeks. When it does, expect an update.
IT'S HERE!
It arrived & managed to get it soldered together without frying any of the circuitry inside!
It does actually read & write cards (sort of) as sometimes it does throw an AUTH ERROR!! but it will still read the ID of the card so that's fine as that can be stored in the DB with a trigger attached.
